Admission Eligibilities


  1. For Two-Year M.Ed.: A bachelor degree in relevant field (e.g. B.Ed. /B.Sc. /B.A./PGDE or equivalent) from a recognized university with second class standing or minimum 2.5 CGPA. Minimum fifteen years of schooling is essential for enrolment in the program.
  2. Entrance Test: Students applied for distance mode of study will have to attend an entrance test of 100 marks. A minimum score of 50% is mandatory to be qualified for the admission. Such entrance test will be conducted online. Access ID and secure password to attend the online entrance test will be forwarded to candidates’ email with payment of processing cost. There may be a short telephone interview for the successful candidates.

    Notes:       

    • The students from non-educational background have to take an additional course as specified by the School of Education in Two-Years M.Ed. program.
    • Successful completion of the entrance written test or an interview or both is required for admission as specified.
